Top 3 AI Tools of the Week for Academic Research
Scite, Trinka, Litmaps
Top 3 AI Tools of the Week for Academic Research:
1. Scite
Finding, reading, using and citing real and reliable sources will make your academic work powerful. Do not rely on ChatGPT for your academic work. It still generates fake citations. I checked it and most of the cited papers do not even exist. However, a reliable AI-powered app called Scite provides real citations to real published papers.
2. Trinka
ChatGPT and similar engines can generate well-written structures. But they are not for academic writing. But a number of AI tools are available for academic writing. One of them is Trinka. Students & researchers from Princeton, Stanford, Harvard, and MIT use it.
3. Litmaps
Litmaps is a tool that helps researchers and academics with literature reviews. It generates a map of the most relevant articles that relate to a seed paper, allowing users to easily find the articles and papers they need to complete a literature review. The most recent articles appear on the right, the most cited articles appear at the top, and the lines show the citations in-between. Users can click on the dots to explore the articles, add new terms to expand their search, and let Litmaps find the articles they didn’t know they needed to know about.
